I qualified as a London Blue Badge Tourist Guide in 2009. I am a member of the Institute of Tourist Guiding, British Guild of Tourist Guides and the Association of Professional Tourist Guides. As a Blue Badge Guide in London, I belong to the elite of the tourist guides in the UK, undergoing two years of extensive training. We are the only guides allowed to guide at many of the most important sites such as Westminster Abbey, St Paul’s Cathedral, Windsor Castle and the Tower of London. I guide in English only. I have obtained further Blue Badge accreditation for Windsor and Eton, for the Olympic site and for York Minster and Canterbury Cathedral.
